Michelle Tan – Account Manager

1. How did you get in to PR?
I had been in marketing and communications roles in various organisations I worked for, such as the French Music Office, and liaising with the media was always a part of my responsibilities.

2. What do you love most about the job?
It is hard to pick one thing: I love that my work involves using my creativity and intellect, the variety of work, the opportunity to learn so many things through my clients, when my work has a positive impact on my clients’ business and that WordStorm is a fabulous place to come to work!

3. If you could publicise anything in the world, what would it be?
Merkins– I think they’ve had a bad rap.

4. What do you have in your desk drawer?
The cure for cancer if you look hard enough. There’s also Nurofen, Sudafed, spray on bandaids, multivitamins, moisturisers...

5. If you were a superhero what would your special power be?
To make wishes come true - but I don’t want to be kept in a lamp and if anyone asks me for a never ending pack of Tim Tams, I will slap them.

6. What do you do when you're not working?
Eat, rest, read & play
