Established four years ago, The Chefs Toolbox has become one of Australia’s emerging big brands in kitchenware, earning a place on BRW’s list of fastest-growing start up companies. The key difference between The Chefs Toolbox and other kitchenware brands is its unique sales model and “try before you buy” approach.
The company sells its products through home cooking workshops, where consultants teach recipes and techniques that showcase the kitchenware range. The majority of revenue comes from the cooking workshops, although customers can also purchase through the online store (www.chefstoolbox.com.au).
The Chefs Toolbox is 100% Australian-owned. It is almost entirely vertically integrated, from product design and packaging through to sale to the final consumer. The entire range is designed in-house, with a heavy emphasis on quality materials, practicality and ergonomic design
