GROOVE Dance Expo is the largest dance expo in Australia and in previous years has attracted up to 8,000 visitors. Held biannually, businesses from all areas of the dance industry showcase clothing, costuming, shoes, make-up, hair, dance schools, photography, videography and studio equipment.

The event was created by dance teachers Damian and Terri Percy, former Australian representatives at the Latin American and Ballroom Professional World Championships.

Our Aims

• To create awareness of GROOVE Dance Expo amongst the dancing community and general public via media exposure
  
• To encourage people to attend the GROOVE Dance Expo through continued media coverage

What We Achieved

WordStorm was successful in its aim to maximise media exposure for GROOVE Dance Expo in the lead up to the event. In total, GROOVE Dance Expo was exposed to over 3.29 million readers, listeners and viewers across Australia.

GROOVE Dance Expo was featured in over 35 media outlets. WordStorm was successful in achieving editorial segments on Morning’s with Kerri-Anne (Channel Nine), 9am with David and Kim (Channel TEN) and Sydney Weekender (Channel Seven). In addition GROOVE Dance Expo was also featured in several leading print publications including The Sydney Morning Herald, The Sunday Telegraph and The Saturday Daily Telegraph.
